If you update the VSE Management Software on
the CMS to version A.04.01.00.* without updating the gWLM agent software
on some of your managed systems, update those agents as soon as it
is convenient to do so. Use Procedure 3-19 to
update the agents. Procedure 3-19 Update gWLM Agents After Updating the CMS Undeploy the SRDs that are managing
systems where agents are going to be upgraded. Stop using the existing
version of gWLM, including the command-line interface. You can continue
running the gWLM daemons (gwlmcmsd and gwlmagent) and the WBEM service and provider daemons. Install
and start the agents as described in “Install VSE Agent Software on Managed Systems”. For any
partition-based SRDs, follow the steps described in “Rediscover Partition-Based SRDs”.
For SRDs based on PSETs, FSS groups, or virtual machines, redeploy
those SRDs.
