VSE Management
Software version 4.0 runs under HP Systems Insight
Manager (HP SIM) Version 5.2 with Update 1 (C.05.02.01.00.x) or later. If you
are currently using an earlier version of HP SIM, see “Before Upgrading from a Previous Version” for
the recommended upgrade procedure.
System
requirements for HP SIM are defined in the HP Systems Insight
Manager 5.2 Installation and Configuration Guide for HP-UX (http://docs.hp.com/en/418810-003/). Refer
to that document for information about HP SIM requirements and dependencies.
In particular, note that you might need to install HP-UX patches before
you install HP SIM.
In addition to the requirements imposed by HP
SIM, the requirements for this release of the VSE Management Software
are described in the following sections.
