In addition to tasks you can perform from the
Capacity Advisor graphical user interface, Capacity Advisor provides
several commands that can be run from the command line, as listed
in Table 1-1. For additional information, see the corresponding man
pages (see Appendix A “Command Reference”).

| cappmpextract(1m) | Exports
HP PMP system data from the specified managed system and imports the
data into Capacity Advisor. See the man page for supported PMP versions. |
| capprofile(1m) | Imports,
exports, displays, invalidates or removes utilization data for a specific
workload. |
| capprofile(4) | Defines
the format of Capacity Advisor import and export files. |
| capreport (1M) | Creates a Capacity Advisor Report from the command line. |
| capreport (4) | Defines the format of a command file to use with the capreport command. |
