  • ClusterPack V2.4 does not support secure shell ssh.

  • Giving clsh an unknown node name will cause the application to terminate.

  • When installing an image on a Compute Node using clbootnodes -i <image>, the next execution of compute_config will fix these errors. Or the following command can be used:

    % /opt/clusterpack/bin/clsh /opt/clusterpack/lbin/scm.client -s <management_server_hostname> -p <scm_admin_password>

  • After installing a system image on a Compute Node, the HyperFabric software bundle (HyprFabrc-00) must be reinstalled manually with the swinstall flag -x reinstall=true in order for the installed HyperFabric hardware to be detected.

  • ClusterPack V2.4 includes System Inventory Manager (SysInvMgr) on the installation media. SysInvMgr is not compatible with HP-UX 11i V2.0 May 2005 Fusion. The Distributed Management Interface (DMI) component of SysInvMgr will produce a core file on startup under HP-UX 11i V2.0 May 2005 Fusion. Customers who want to install SysInvMgr should use HP-UX 11i V2.0 September 2004 Fusion release.

  • The InfiniBand drivers are not active following a Golden Image installation of a Compute Node. The IB4X-00 driver bundle can be swcopy'd to the ClusterPack depot /var/opt/clusterpack/depot. If the InfiniBand drivers are in that depot, compute_config will offer the user an option to re-install the drivers on the Compute Nodes. Installation of the InfiniBand drivers will cause the Compute Nodes to reboot.
