Chapter 1 Introduction to HP C

HP C is Hewlett-Packard's version of the C programming language that is implemented on HP 9000 workstations and servers. HP C/HP-UX is highly compatible with the C compiler implemented on the HP 9000 Series 300/400 and CCS/C, Corporate Computer Systems C compiler for the HP 3000. Some system and hardware-specific differences do exist. These are documented in the HP C Reference Manual for your system.
