As a part of your new computer, you received at least one box containing a Data Communications and Terminal Controller (DTC). The DTC 16iX allows terminals, PCs, and printers to use the computer and be used by the computer.

FAULT

only active when there is a problem.

ACTIVITY

a fixed light when the DTC 16iX is fully operational and running without a problem. A flashing light indicates software uploaded, download or a self-test in progress.

LINE ON

stays lit when the power is on.

Refer the manual that accompanies the DTC 16iX for more details on hardware operation.
