To use the Superdome service and console interfaces you must have account access to log in to the server's Guardian Service Processor (GSP).

Each Superdome complex has its own set of GSP accounts, which are defined for the complex and may differ from accounts on other Superdome servers.

The three GSP access levels are:

  • Administrator

Provides access to all GSP commands, and access to all partition consoles and Virtual Front Panels.

  • Operator

Provides access to a subset of GSP commands, and access to all partition consoles and Virtual Front Panels.

  • Single Partition User

Provides access to a restricted subset of GSP commands, and access to a single partition's console and a single partition's Virtual Front Panel.

Each GSP login account has a specific login name and password.

Also, each GSP account may permit multiple concurrent login sessions (if it is a "multiple use" account), or may restrict account access to a single login session (for "single use" accounts).
