Database Administrators Password Cannot Contain an Equals Sign

Do not include an equals sign character (=) as part of the database administrator password. The cluster_prep command prompts you to define this password.

If you include an equals sign character in the password, symptoms may include errors while running the discover, cluster_config or reset_db commands or any HP XC command that attempts to connect to the database as administrator or root.
