Viewing Instances

This section describes the tasks you must perform to view instances. This section discusses the following topics:

Viewing Information About Processors

To obtain information about processors, such as the processor type, architecture revision, and processor speed, complete the following steps:

Select 6 items not shown under System on the HP SMH home page.
The system page is displayed.

Select Processors under Summary on the HP SMH home page.
Information about the processors is displayed.
To return to the HP SMH home page, click Home at the top of the window.




	NOTE: There is no CLI to view information about processors. For more information on how to interpret the processor instances' fields and the corresponding values, see “Processor Instances”

Viewing Information About Physical Memory

To obtain information about memory, such as the memory location, serial number, part number, and the events related to memory, complete the following steps:

Select 6 items not shown under System on the HP SMH home page.
The system page is displayed.
Select Physical Memory under System on the HP SMH home page.
Information about the physical memory is displayed.
To return to the HP SMH home page, click Home at the top of the window.




	NOTE: There is no CLI to view information about memory. For more information on how to interpret the physical memory instances' fields and the corresponding values, see “Physical Memory Instances”

Viewing Information About Cooling Devices

To view information about the cooling devices on the system, such as the status, location, and the type of fans, complete the following steps:

Select Cooling under System on the HP SMH home page.
Information about cooling devices is displayed in the Cooling Status window.
To return to the HP SMH home page, click Home at the top of the window.




	NOTE: There is no CLI to view information about cooling devices. For more information on how to interpret the cooling device instances' fields and the corresponding values, see “Cooling Device Instances”

Viewing Power Supply Instances

To view information about the power supplies, such as the status, power supply type, part number and serial number, complete the following steps:

Select 6 items not shown under System on the HP SMH home page.
The system page is displayed.
Select Power under System on the HP SMH home page.
Information about the power status is displayed in the Power Status window.
To return to the System Management Homepage home, click Home at the top of the window.




	NOTE: There is no CLI to view information about power supplies. For more information on how to interpret the power supply instances' fields and the corresponding values, see “Power Supply Instances”

Viewing Temperature Status and Events

To view the temperature status and events related to temperature, complete the following steps:

Select 6 items not shown under System on the HP SMH home page.
The system page is displayed.
Select Temperature on the system page.
The temperature status of the system is displayed in the Temperature Status window.
To return to the System Management Homepage home, select Home at the top of the window.




	NOTE: There is no CLI to view information about the temperature status. For more information on how to interpret the temperature instances' fields and the corresponding values, see “Temperature Instances”

Viewing Voltage Status and Events

To view the voltage status and events related to voltage, complete the following steps:

Select 6 items not shown under System on the HP SMH home page.
Select Voltage on the system page.
The voltage status of the system and the events related to voltage are displayed in the Voltage Status window.
To return to the HP SMH home page, click Home at the top of the window.




	NOTE: There is no CLI to view information about the voltage status. For more information on how to interpret the voltage instances' fields and the corresponding values, see “Voltage Instances”

Viewing Information About Disks

To obtain information about disks, such as, status, serial number, hardware path, capacity, and disk firmware revision, complete the following steps:

Select Disks under Summary on the HP SMH home page.
Information about the disks is displayed.
To return to the HP SMH home page, click Home at the top of the window.




	NOTE: For more information on how to interpret the disk drive instances' fields and the corresponding values, see “Disk Drive Instances”

Viewing Information About Management Processor

To obtain information about the Management Processor (MP), such as its IP address, status, and URL, complete the following steps:

Select Management Processor under Summary on the HP SMH home page.
Information about the management processor is displayed.
To return to the HP SMH home page, click Home at the top of the window.

Viewing Information About Firmware Revision

To obtain information about the firmware revision, such as the system firmware version and the MP firmware version, complete the following steps:

Select Firmware Revision under Software on the HP SMH home page.
Information about the firmware revision is displayed.
To return to the HP SMH home page, click Home at the top of the window.

Viewing Information About Onboard Administrator

To obtain information about the Onboard Administrator (OA), such as the OA description, OA IP address, and OA MAC address, complete the following steps:

Select Enclosure Information under Enclosure on the HP SMH home page.
Information about the OA is displayed.
To return to the HP SMH home page, click Home at the top of the window.
