Following are the prerequisites for installing the June 2007 version of SFM software:

  • HP-UX 11i v3 February 2007 release

  • OpenSSL Version A.00.09.07e.013 or later

  • EVM-EventMgr B.11.31

  • SysMgmtBase B.00.02.03

  • WBEM Services Version A.02.05 or later

  • SysMgmtWeb Version A.2.2.4 (HP-UX Web-Based System Management User Interface)

  • Online Diagnostics (OnlineDiag bundle version B.11.31.01.yy)

NOTE: SysMgmtWeb is optional. However, you cannot access EVWEB GUI if SysMgmtWeb is not installed on the system.

All the prerequisites are available on the OE media. You can select the SFM dependencies from the OE media while installing the SFM software as a standalone component.

The OnlineDiag bundle is always installed with the OE media.

HP recommends that you install HP Systems Insight Manager (HP SIM) version 5.01.01 or later to remotely administer indications and instances.

The mentioned versions of the software are minimum requirements. All future versions support SFM by default.
