How to Backup the System

Now that you have a solid system configuration, you need to back it up. This provides you with a stable configuration that you can use to rebuild the system, if necessary.

You can use the Ignite-UX product for making a system recovery backup. See the Ignite-UX Administration Guide:

Depending on your work environment, you can use the following commands:

	NOTE: You cannot use make_tape_recovery and make_recover with HP-UX 11i v1.6. The make_net_recovery command is available.
