Changing an Existing Transaction File or Session Profile File Record 

From the initial Transaction File Editor screen, press  Edit File.  The
following screen appears:

Type the name of the Transaction File or Session Profile file you want to
change.  If it is not in the sign on group and account, you will have to
give this information too.  Press  Enter Filename.  If you are using the
Gateway Intrinsics and the Transaction File you are changing was not
created by the Transaction File Editor and does not contain a type 2000
transaction record, the following screen appears (skip over the
instructions for this screen if they do not apply to you):

This screen is used to specify whether you are using foreign address
aliases or explicit foreign addresses and, if so, the length of these
fields in bytes.  You may:

   *   Type the name of the Session Profile file containing the 100100
       transaction type record which gives foreign address information,
       in the Session Profile field

   *   Type the length of your foreign address aliases or explicit
       foreign addresses in the Option 1 Length field.  If you use both
       foreign address aliases and explicit foreign addresses, type the
       length of the explicit foreign address in the Option 2 Length
       field.

Press  Profile Entered.

The first record in the file appears on your screen.

Move to the record you want to change by using  Prev Record,  Next Record 
or  Goto Record.  When you have reached the record you want to change,
press  Modify Record.  Make the changes you require and press  Modify 
Complete.  Continue to change records in this way as necessary.


NOTE  If you use both foreign address aliases and explicit foreign
      addresses, the browsing of transaction types 10000, 20400, 21000,
      21100, 21200, 21300, 30200 and 30400 differs from normal.  There is
      not enough room on the screen to show the Additional user
      information (Option 2):  field.  If you want to change this field
      press  Display Option2.  When you have finished the changes, press  
      Option2 Modified.  You are returned to the screen showing
      Additional user information (Option 1):  and can proceed as normal
      from there.


When you have finished all your changes, press  End Of Edit.  The
function keys at the bottom of your screen change.  Press  Save Changes.
A screen prompting for filename, group and account appears.  You can
overwrite the original file by pressing  Filename Entered, or save the
changed file as a new Transaction File by typing a new filename before
pressing  Filename Entered.
